What Do You Want The World To Know?

You’re experiencing pain, heartache, loss and sadness. Confusion, depression and helplessness.

Nobody thinks you’re serious. Everyone thinks you’re being silly and that you need to just “get over it”. Because “you’re not the only one in this world going through this”. “You’re just an attention seeker”.

If you had all the courage in the world, and you’re standing on a stage, what would you want to say to them? What do you want to scream out from the top of your lungs? What is it that they just don’t or won’t understand?

Do you ever wonder how many people are feeling like you are right now? Or do you think you’re all alone in this world?

Talk to me. And I’ll help you tell the world. I’ll help you spread your message. Your story must be told.

  1. I wish that more of these topics got taught from primary school right thru to graduating high school. My own depression and later anxiety wasn’t diagnosed until i was 21. But i would love to go do talks to school kids about thinking before you say or act and asking them all two main questions. Have you ever said or done something to another person in an attempt to make them feel bad or hurt their feelings, have you been the giver or receiver. Now imagine getting told that horrible thing everyday to the point where you question whether it’s true and constantly doubt yourself. If we could get the children of the world to realize how powerful just words alone could be maybe we can learn to build each other up instead of tearing each other down.

    1. I agree with you 100%, that’s what I wish I could do as well. There’s so many components to being a compassionate person and it really starts at home. If it’s not shown at home, then that’s why schools should be teaching it too. Learning to be kind to one another must always be before maths and science.
